Technician Training Program

Talscamp at Baylor University offers a unique and elite technical theatre program for high school students mentored and taught by dedicated faculty.

Students will receive instruction and mentoring from faculty and camp designers in a variety of disciplines. Students will explore stage management, scenic construction, painting, props construction, lighting, as well as sound. Campers will help construct, paint, setup and strike production elements as well as receive direct instruction with classes taught by the camp faculty and designers. Students will also help run the camp shows, serving in a variety of positions including assistant stage manager, properties, sound console operator, lighting console operator.
